What’s the job?

As a Customer Success Manager at Leapfin, you will be a pivotal member of our Customer Success team, guiding customers to unlock the full potential of our platform. This is a senior role on the team and blends deep accounting expertise with strategic consulting, enabling you to drive significant impact for our customers and within our organization. You’ll lead transformative implementations and foster long-term customer engagement, contributing to Leapfin’s growth and success.

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape our customer success strategy and grow within a startup environment. You’ll work with innovative technology, collaborate with a talented team, and empower leading brands to achieve their financial goals.

What does that mean?

  • Consultative Expertise: Become a Leapfin expert, leveraging your accounting and finance background to advise customers on best practices for using Leapfin and its integration partners like Stripe, Netsuite, and many others.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as an internal champion for customers, collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams to ensure adoption, identify upsell opportunities, and relay feedback to improve our platform.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, providing training, troubleshooting challenges, and driving value through new feature rollouts and ongoing support.
  • Lead Customer Implementations: Oversee the end-to-end implementation process, from kick-off to a seamless go-live, ensuring projects meet milestones and stay on schedule.
  • Project Management: Monitor and adapt implementation timelines and resources, keeping internal teams and customers informed with clear, timely updates.
  • Customer Advocacy: Support the customer journey across pre-sales, onboarding, and post-implementation, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.

  • Accounting Expertise: A background in accounting or finance, either as a contributor or in a role supporting accounting/finance systems.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for working directly with customers to solve problems and drive value.
  • A passion for new technology including AI: You are curious about new technologies and are using AI in your day-to-day life.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills to manage complex implementations and deliver on time.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SQL, databases, and APIs is a major plus.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and contribute as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, high-growth startup setting and is willing to pitch in across the business to support customers.
  • Location: Ideally based in the Bay Area, though remote applicants will be considered.
