During our Vibe Accounting session on day 4, the "why" behind this project finally clicked into place.
We've been using an AI agent to automate the creation of revenue recognition rules. But automation is useless without proof. The next logical step was to create a deferred revenue waterfall report for one of our customers.
Instead of building it manually, we directed our specialized reporting agent, Luca, to construct the report based on the rev rec agent's work. It generated a perfect waterfall on the first prompt, handling complex formatting with simple follow-up requests.
The customer watching this process unfold was stunned. They said:
"Man. That's so crazy. Is that the future? I mean, coding through communication, just through written language."
I can't say it any better myself. This is where we're headed. A future where deep financial and technical work is no longer done by writing lines of code, but by having a clear, structured conversation with a team of AI agents that you oversee.
