Day 5 of Vibe Accounting, and we've run into a very human problem: our AI agent is trying too hard to please.
With every correction I provide, it gives me a cheerful, "You're absolutely right! I see the problem now..." 💀
It feels like managing a very smart, very eager intern who apologizes profusely for every mistake but doesn't always learn the lesson. The constant pleasantries start to feel like a waste of time and actually slow down the feedback loop. This clearly isn't a bug - it's a feature of models optimized for agreeableness. But you don't manage a professional tool with politeness; you manage it with clarity.
Our next step is to give the agent a new performance review via its system prompt. We're instructing it to be direct, brutally honest, and to communicate like a senior specialist - no fluff, no apologies, just facts and solutions.
