What’s the job?

As Software Engineer, you will own the technical vision and execution of our modern web platform. You will lead initiatives that define how customers interact with our data automation tools, including intuitive dashboards, real-time visualizations, and AI-assisted workflows. You will work closely with design, product, and backend teams to create scalable, high-performing, and elegant frontend architecture. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical expertise, mentoring, and long-term architectural thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Leapfin’s React-based frontend architecture
  • Drive adoption of modern web standards
  • Build high-performance, data-rich UIs that interact seamlessly with large-scale APIs and data sources
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to translate complex finance workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Take ownership of existing codebase modernization and technical debt management
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
  • Establish best practices for testing, performance optimization, and accessibility
  • Work with backend and DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and production reliability

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern state management patternsExperience with frontend build systems such as Webpack or Vite and component libraries such as Blueprint.js, MUI, or Chakra UI
  • Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Proficiency in CSS-in-JS, responsive design, and modern styling systems
  • Experience working with cloud-native environments including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Strong curiosity and genuine interest in learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building large-scale SaaS applications with modular and maintainable architectures
  • Familiarity with performance profiling, bundle optimization, and A/B testing
  • Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, or ECharts
  • Experience implementing design systems and frontend infrastructure at scale
  • Understanding of backend fundamentals such as Node.js, APIs, or data pipelines
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional projects
