This weekend, I saw our specialized AI accounting agent, Luca, evolve in real-time over an immaculate Vibe Accounting session (day 6).
It started with what I thought would be an all-day task: a customer's complex rev rec automation involving 80/20 splits, tax reversals, and multi-currency FX. With a simple prompt, the agent built the entire thing perfectly on the first try. A full day's work compressed into less than 20 minutes. That was impressive.
But what happened next was the real breakthrough.
We moved to another customer's complex refund rules. The AI not only solved the immediate problem in one shot, but it anticipated the user's next needs. It proactively built out additional, necessary rules for edge cases I hadn't even specified yet.
This is the critical difference between a tool that follows instructions and a teammate that understands intent. The agent moved from "doing what I say" to "solving the whole problem".
